May 3rd – Day 3
- 2 handfuls Kale
- 1 handful mixed greens
- 2 cups Spring Water
- 1.5 cups blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- Agave syrup, to taste
- Smoothie 1 – 1030am
- Smoothie 2 – 230pm
- Smoothie 3 – 630pm
- Smoothie 4 – 1030pm
- Weight: 130lbs/59kg
- Bust: 35in/89cm (I miss my pregnant tatas … )
- Waist: 29in/73.5cm
- Hips: 39in/99cm (Note: I am not tryin’ to lose booty/hips… not at all…)
- Water Intake: 2.5 Liters (2/3 Gallon)
So you know how the seeds and fruity gunk gathers at the bottom of the cup when you’ve finished drinking a smoothie? Here I go, thinking, “Hmm, that might be useful like a mini-smoothie,” decide to pour a little water in it, stir it around, and drink it.
Bad idea. Don’t do that. Ever.
Waking up this morning at 6:45am, I felt more energy and, most importantly, more calm. Plenty of times I wake up and feel like I’m already behind schedule. The Wake-Up Anxiety is real. But today, I was cool. The Kid was cool. The weather was cool. Everybody was coolin.
When I got back home, I checked it in at my Gratitude Altar, made tea and smoothies for the day, and started writing.
Today was writing day, so that’s all I planned to do. By 3pm, I was almost at a half gallon of water. All the peeing! Goodness. I don’t know if the pee breaks forced me to take the breaks that I’d normally skip, but I was able to focus more and get more done. At the end of today, I’d drunk about 2/3 gallon (2.5 L) of water.
Getting ready to pick up the Kid and all I could think about was the Chick-fil-A right
across from her school…. help me.
Mood was kinda irritable but the bounce back – the ability to catch myself and pull back – was quicker.
I’m not claiming any magical transformations just yet – hell, I haven’t even had a BM. Granted my period is starting soon & “the back up” usually happens around this time.
We’ll see. We in this thing for 3 months.
